“The instructions that I receive from Rachel are probably the clearest I had received. It does not require me to see her to perform the task. Simply listening was enough i.e. place your feet toward the ceiling. While I’m still working out I find that yoga will help me stretch, which I find I need more.
I’m more limber which encourages me to work out more. I can usually see the results before the end of class. The friendships developed at class and after class are an added benefit.”

“Rachel is not just a yoga instructor, she believes in nurturing the entire body, mind and soul. For the Body, the yoga stretches, keeps your limber and strengthens you. Rachel also focuses on nutrition, a necessary element addressing the body from the inside. The Mind…yoga helps you focus on your state of being and commitment to yourself to take the time for the practice. My friends all know not to plan anything on Wed evening as that is always blocked out for my yoga class. Finally, the Soul…happiness is achieved by doing something for yourself and if you are happy and at peace you can use that energy towards others to help them find happiness and peace. Rachel is always stressing that this is our practice and not her practice. We should only do what our body allows and what we feel comfortable doing based on our level of comfort which is an ever-changing state. I am also amazed how she flows from one move to another; always reassuring and non-judgmental as we all tend to judge ourselves harshly.”
